CARBYN
The artist project. CARBYN is DJ’s own music and artist identity — underground, rage, hyperpop, and digicore — released on SoundCloud and Spotify. A deliberate long-game brand, built on the same operating system as the client work, with the visual identity still in progress.
The idea
An artist project is a brand like any other — it needs a name, a sound, a look, and a way to reach the right rooms. Most independent artists treat the music as the whole job and leave the identity and the outreach to chance, which is why good tracks go unheard.
CARBYN is DJ’s own artist identity in the underground / rage / hyperpop / digicore lane, treated with the same operator mindset as the client work: a real name and position, a distribution footprint, and targeted outreach — built patiently as a long game rather than forced.
The pieces
Artist identity
CARBYN as a named artist project with a defined lane — underground, rage, hyperpop, digicore — rather than an unbranded stream of uploads.
Music + releases
Original music released and distributed on SoundCloud and Spotify, the core of the whole project.
Outreach lists
Targeted music-outreach lead lists — hyperpop playlists, outlets like Ringtone Mag, and Philly DIY venues — so releases reach real rooms and ears.
Long-game plan
A deliberately paced backlog project, built up over time instead of chasing one viral moment.
Same operating system
Run on the same brand-and-ops thinking as every other venture here — the artist project treated as a business, not a hobby.
Visual identity
The CARBYN mark and full visual system are still in progress — deliberately left undesigned rather than faked.
Deliverables & build
◉ Proof: a genuine personal artist brand and music catalog on SoundCloud and Spotify, with real outreach lists built — a long-game concept under CE OS. There is no standalone logo pack yet and the mark is in progress; that is stated plainly rather than mocked up. No streaming or fan numbers are claimed.
Why it matters
CARBYN is here for honesty and range, not metrics: proof that the same operator approach — name it, position it, distribute it, do the outreach — gets applied to DJ’s own music. It is early, the mark is unfinished, and it is labeled exactly that way.
